Director of Programming

As the Director of Programming, Amoy is responsible for the successful day-to-day implementation of all Marquis Studios programs and supports the roster of Teaching Artists by addressing all programming concerns. She is responsible for program quality and manages the administration and facilitation of all programs. Amoy plays a critical role in implementing strategic initiatives and sustains significant external relationships with school administrators, partnering organizations and the arts education community.

Amoy Mclean is an administrator, facilitator and writer that has worked within the field of Arts, Education, Youth Development and Non-profit Management for over 12 years. Being a Jamaican native, she studied at the University of the West Indies, where she received her Bachelor of Arts and developed a passion for youth advocacy, education accessibility and cultural equity rooted in the spirit of global citizenship. Amoy strongly believes in the transformative power of education and developing diverse learning agendas that enables students to successfully achieve their goals. Staying true to her passion for empowering children to see beyond their circumstances and live the creative and colorful lives they envision makes Marquis Studios the perfect professional home. Striving to live a fearless and fulfilling life she embraces new experiences and enjoys reading, travelling, and writing.
