Marquis Studios welcomes Interim Executive Director Diana Breen
Diana Breen, Interim Executive Director, joins the Marquis Studios team to provide executive leadership during transition.
New York, NY – Marquis Studios proudly announces Diana Breen as the Interim Executive Director. Ms. Breen leads her own consulting business that supports organizations in fundraising, strategic planning and program development. She brings her executive leadership experience in non-profit management, and training from the Support Center’s Interim Executive Director program, to lead Marquis Studios’ staff, oversee operations and support the Board through this transition period.
In the following months, the Support Center for Nonprofit Management will conduct an organizational assessment, in coordination with the Board of Directors, Interim Executive Director, and staff. This assessment will inform the recruitment for the next long-term leader of Marquis Studios. Throughout the executive transition and search, Marquis Studios is ensuring that the organization is well managed, programs continue without interruption, and key stakeholders stay informed and engaged.
Marquis Studios’ mission is to inspire a passion for learning by bringing the arts to schools. Marquis Studios’ dedicated Board and staff will continue the great work of founder and former Executive Director David Marquis by ensuring that every student has an authentic and exciting arts experience. Day after day, school after school, child after child, Marquis Studios will continue to build self-confidence in New York City public school students through high-quality arts education programming.
“Ms. Breen is a valuable asset to Marquis Studios,” said Dorothy Devlin, Board Chair. “I am confident in her ability to successfully lead our staff and partner with our Board during this transition period.”
“I am honored to join the enthusiastic Marquis Studios team and continue Mr. Marquis’ legacy,” said Ms. Breen. “With a dedicated Board and staff, solid support from funders, and consistently high-quality programs led by our dynamic teaching artists, Marquis Studios is well-poised to thrive throughout this transition and in its next chapter.”
