Niizeki Hiromi has taught visual arts to children for more than 25 years in Tokyo and New York City She has taught for several organizations including the Children’s Museum of the Arts in Soho, the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Hudson River Museum. As an installation artist, she has participated in solo and group shows at different galleries and public spaces throughout New York City. She has also done commissioned work for several organizations. Her interest as a teaching artist is to expose children to contemporary art through the use of different media.
