    Vickie Tanner holds a BFA in theatre from California State University, Long Beach. She trained with Maggie Flanigan at Maggie Flanigan Studio and at William Esper Studio in New York. She has been a teaching artist for 12 years with many Arts and Educations companies including Roundabout Theatre, Symphony Space, Early Stages, IDEAS, Enact, Tempest, Playwright’s Theatre, Marquis Studios and BAM, teaching everything from conflict resolution to American history. One of Vickie’s main objectives in working with children is to validate their own stories and experiences. She has created a 12 week workshop around her solo show, Running Into Me, speaking directly to that goal. Among her theatre credits are STOMP, (Orpheum Theatre, National and European Tours); the world premiere of TANTALUS, Denver Center Theatre and British tour with the Royal Shakespeare Company; TWO DAYS, Long Wharf Theatre; THAT DAMN DYKSTRA , Access Theatre and Running Into Me, a solo show, the Kitchen Theatre.
