Krystal Scott is a seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, currently serving as the Head of BSA/AML Transformation for Wells Fargo’s Consumer, Small & Business Banking. In her role, Krystal oversees a team dedicated to developing, implementing, and coordinating comprehensive compliance strategies that support the organization’s regulatory and financial crime initiatives. Since joining Wells Fargo in 2021, she has led efforts to enhance compliance standards and drive organizational effectiveness in regulatory response.
Previously, Krystal served as Consumer Chief Risk Officer at Bank of America, where she led the strategic oversight of all risk types within the Consumer Bank. Her extensive background spans executive leadership across operations, product, and service functions, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex risk landscapes.
A passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, Krystal spearheaded the Multicultural Women Ready to Lead program during her tenure at Bank of America. She is an active member of the National Association of Female Executives (NAFE), the Risk Management Association, CHIEF, and the Consumer Bankers Association, where she serves on the Risk Management Committee.
Krystal’s dedication to community service is evident in her past role as Treasurer and Board Member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Maryland. She has also volunteered with numerous organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, Junior Achievement, and Covenant House DC. Krystal holds a Bachelor of Arts from Bowling Green State University and is based in the New York City area.
