Each year we are proud to host special events that celebrate student work, shine a spotlight on our programs, and help generate vital support that allows us to provide high-quality arts programs to under-resourced communities across the five boroughs of New York City.
We are grateful to be supported by a community of individuals who share our passion for the arts and believe that all students can succeed through creative learning. We hope you'll join us at an upcoming event to help support equitable arts access for all New York City students!
In March 2025, Marquis Studios was honored to present Inclusive Impressions: An Extension of Light, An Expression of Ability in partnership with Sotheby’s. This weeklong public exhibition, which highlighted the work of New York City public school students with disabilities, culminated in an evening reception for supporters and community members.
The collected paintings featured in Inclusive Impressions were created using technology-assisted and adaptive painting techniques designed to enable students with disabilities, including limited mobility, to participate in a meaningful arts experience. This exhibition was organized through Sotheby’s Community Gallery Program, an initiative that spotlights artists and creatives in partnership with mission-driven organizations. More than 100 guests gathered in June at 54 Below for a special benefit production of Neil Berg’s 101 Years of Broadway, which recreated the greatest moments from the finest shows of the century. The evening featured performances by Jeannette Bayardelle, Rita Harvey and Rayshun LaMarr.
We sincerely appreciate everyone who joined us to celebrate the work of Marquis Studios and to honor Susan Gross Sholinsky, who was awarded the 2024 Arts Advocate Award for her support of arts education organizations in NYC.
