In 2015, Ashley Tucker joined the Marquis Studios to help bring the arts into schools. Ashley holds a B.F.A. in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design, and studied traditional Italian fresco painting under Master Roger Allen Nelson of Boone, N.C. After working at the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art in Charlotte, N.C. she moved to NYC to study Arts and Cultural Management. Ashley has a M.P.S from Pratt Institute. As a consultant, Ashley worked as a fundraiser, project manager and event planner across sectors. She developed strategic recommendations ranging from systematic improvements to potential investment opportunities for nonprofit and private sector clients. Ashley believes in the transformative power of the arts to improve lives and build bridges in communities. Ashley enjoys painting, gardening and going on walks with her partner and corgi named Chipper.
